Colleen Releases "What Was It" To Radio! Oct 5, 2009
'What Was It' (3:02) Written by- Richard Leigh / Layng Martine, Jr.
Richard Leigh and Layng Martine,Jr. wrote 'The Greatest Man I Never Knew' for Reba. And they've been the hit makers behind the success of Crystal Gayle. Colleen Rae personally called Layng and asked him to send her some songs. Rae related to the lyrics in 'What Was It' and decided to record the tune. "There's a line about going to a fortune teller and I have been known to get my palm read every now and then. I got the honour of meeting Layng during my first trip to Nashville."- Colleen Rae.
ALASKA CRUISE WAS A SUCCESS!
This summer I sang on an Alaska cruise! The weather was good and the scenery was beautiful. I was thrilled to have such a huge group of family, fans and friends who took the trip to Alaska with me. The support was awesome. I hope everyone enjoyed my shows, our private cocktail party, and autograph signing sessions as much as I did. I put some photos from the trip on my GALLERY page. I will try to up load the video too very soon. Thanks to The Cruise Place (Heather/ Doug/ Ron/ Floyd). A BIG THANK YOU to the entertainment director Brett Mance. And thank you Band Manager Jay, but most of all to the outstanding musicians Andrew, Ruslan, Jacob for making a dream a reality.

ALASKA CRUISE
I am thrilled to announce that I will be performing for one week on an Alaska Cruise. The Norwegian Sun will set sail from Vancouver June 14 -21, 2009. I will be featuring my original songs on piano and guitar on the cruise. For more information click here

'Family' - LATEST RELEASE TO RADIO
Colleen Rae's latest release from her debut CD 'Family" is warming hearts across Canada. Written by Louis Sedmak, Duane Steele and Jake Mathews. 'Family' is Colleen's first crossover song, it has been added on country and gospel radio stations.
NOMINATIONS for 2007
Announced Sept 12 2007, Colleen Rae has been nominated for OUTSTANDING COUNTRY RECORDING OF THE YEAR for her debut CD What You Need Is Me by the Western Canadian Music Award (WCMA).
Colleen Rae and Cornerstone are nominated for a TIMA (Toronto Independent Music Award) for The Best Out-Of-Province category.
